Which is why we need a clear plan.

A plan that sets out what’s important to us and the community we service – and what we want to achieve.

Introducing our strategic plan.

It’s a plan that looks to the future.

It starts with a vision: Together we will create Australia’s healthiest community.

That might seem ambitious – but that’s the point.

We want to strive towards something great.

Our strategic plan describes how we’ll get there with six objectives.

We will look after our staff and ensure they have the skills they need so they can look after you.

We will help make sure people in our communities can live a better life by having better health.

We will use technology so people can access care when and where they need it, and manage their own health and wellbeing.

We will make sure you have a great experience, and provide care that is high quality and safe.

We will learn, improve and try new things to solve problems in our community, and make healthcare better in the future.

We will use our resources wisely, and reduce our impact on the environment for future generations.

Each objective has strategies that will guide us to achieve these goals, and measure we will use to monitor our success.

Now we have a plan, it’s up to all of us to work together to make it happen.

No matter where we work – we all have a part to play.

Our purpose is better lives through better health.

It’s a big job. But together, we can make it a reality.
