Allied Health research capability and development strategy

The purpose of the Allied Health Research Capability and Development Strategy 2021-2025 (PDF, 1001.91 KB) is to be visionary in its approach in driving feasible and practical staff capability development in research, innovation, and evidence-based practice. The strategy aligns with the current Metro South Strategic Plan 2019 – 2023 and the Metro South Health Allied Health Professional Plan, aiming to:

  1. Influence and guide allied health directors, line managers, and staff in research, innovation and evidence-based practice approaches;
  2. Coordinate and integrate current research structures and systems and performance and promote continued steps to research capacity building and governance; and
  3. Promote research excellence and innovation as drivers of better health and better health care.
