Health Equity Strategy

Metro South Health officially launched our Health Equity Strategy, on 21 September 2022, at an event attended by Traditional Custodians, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, community members, Board members and Executive, and First Nation staff.

Digital Health Strategy

Metro South Health’s Digital Health Strategy defines six focus areas to enable safe, quality healthcare and builds on our existing leadership position in Australia’s digital healthcare environment. In addition, the Strategy contributes to meeting our health service strategic objectives to provide equitable access to care, deliver value, lead by innovating and collaborating, and maintain and develop an exceptional workforce for our patient's and consumers.

Clinician Engagement Strategy

The Clinician Engagement Strategy (currently under review) outlines how we will engage clinicians in the design, planning, decision making and evaluation of activities which impact Metro South Health and the provision of health care services to the community.

Research Strategy

The Metro South Health Research Strategy 2019-2024 acknowledges the significant impact that research and researchers contribute to the delivery of high quality healthcare services to our community, and to focus Metro South Health’s research efforts in coming years.

Local Area Needs Assessment

A Local Area Needs Assessment (LANA) is a comprehensive process which analyses current demographics, health needs and the utilisation of health services within the local area to understand health service need.
