It’s always sunny at QEII Hospital, thanks to friendly faces like Operational Support Officer Donna Cali.

Sporting her favourite trolley and infectious positivity around campus, Donna goes above and beyond to put a smile on everyone’s dial – and stop the spread of harmful germs.

“The best part of my day is bringing a smile to someone who’s having a hard time, and hopefully making a positive difference in their day. I enjoy talking to patients and I try to give everyone the best I can,” she said.

“My priority is to make sure that our facility is at a healthy standard, so we can reduce the bacteria and sickness that goes around as much as possible. We’re here to keep patients safe, and I am always focused on that.”

Since joining the QEII team over six years ago, Donna says her friendships with staff and patients are still the highlight of her day.

“It’s all about the people I work with. I’ve built lots of great relationships at QEII and they mean a lot to me,” she said.

A friend to all, Donna is a valued member of the QEII team.

Thanks for all your great work, Donna!
