Recipients of the 2025 MSH Research Grants were celebrated this month during a special event held at the Translational Research Institute at PAH.
The annual research grants program helps to fund health and medical research projects in our hospital and health service. By supporting high quality research, Metro South Health aims to improve the health of Queensland communities.
Research programs in 2025 benefit from $2.5 million in health and medical research grants awarded to 33 recipients across MSH services to fund the future of healthcare.
The standard of healthcare we have today wouldn't be possible without the efforts and innovation from health researchers. Metro South Health has a strong history of fostering research and innovation and these grants are pivotal to the growth of researchers through novice research projects, to early career researchers, research fellowships and collaborations with our university partners.
Project Grants and Program Grants enable research that builds capability within the organisation and are a true testament to the partnership approach for undertaken by the whole research team.
Opportunities like this would not be made possible without the generous contributions from research grant sponsors:
Metro South SERTA, PA Research Foundation, Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology and The University of Queensland.
Congratulations to all our recipients!
