Bayside Health Service's third annual Research Symposium held at Redland Hospital, showcased groundbreaking research by esteemed keynote speakers, Associate Professor Shaun O'Leary and Professor Melissa Bloomer.

The event, themed 'Building for the Future,' showcased the remarkable developments taking place within the Health Service.

The symposium, attended by both in-person and online participants, provided a platform for the sharing of innovative research, leaving attendees inspired by the strides being made in healthcare.

Chief Executive Noelle Cridland expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, emphasising the importance of promoting research in healthcare.
“I'm keen to see research highlighted and growing more strongly, especially in places like Redland. Let's keep pushing boundaries and making a real impact," remarked Cridland.

The event also recognized outstanding contributions, with congratulations extended to Amanda Eldridge for delivering the best oral presentation and Pranika Lal for presenting the best poster. Additionally, Kendall Williams received a Highly Commended award for her oral presentation.

The Research Symposium not only celebrated the achievements of researchers but also emphasized the commitment to advancing the quality of care at Redland Hospital.
