Woolworths Meadowbrook has done it again, putting a hop in the step of the children in Logan's Children's Inpatient Unit, by donating boxes full of Easter goodies.

This heartfelt Easter donation not only brings chocolate covered smiles to the faces of the children, but also marks the 12 -month celebration of an egg-straordinary partnership with the local Woolie's team.

Children's and Neonatal Services DSO Valerie Grasby expressed egg-streme grattitude to the team 'over the road' who they say have gone above and beyond since being approached last year with the request to donate hot cross buns for Easter morning.

"The store manager Liz is always so happy to be involved and over the past year has donated something for every special occasion and event including lollies for Halloween, Easter eggs, Christmas gifts and more," Val said.

"We also receive a weekly donation of fresh fruit for the children's unit, picked out by Produce Manager Justin (pictured)."

The team said the ongoing deliveries went a long way to boosting morale for those children stuck in hospital during special occasions.

Thank you Woolworths for bringing smiles to the CIU.
