Four exceptional medical professionals have been honoured at the first ever LBHS End-of-Year Medical Staff Awards last week.

Doctors Ken Ho, Crystal Chow, Zachary Horn and Hasthika Ellepola were each recognised for their exceptional contributions to the medical workforce during the 2023 RMO year.

Director Medical Services Dr Dale Seierup said he was delighted at the response to the inaugural awards saying more than 100 nominations were received across the four categories.

Dr Seierup said the nominations highlighted the calibre of doctors working across the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service.

“Our medical professionals stand out for their unwavering commitment to patient safety and their exceptional dedication to optimising patient experiences,” he said.

“They embody incredible leadership qualities, serving as genuine, patient-focused individuals who exemplify generosity in their approach. Cooperative and compassionate, these professionals not only fulfill their roles as exemplary caregivers but also serve as role models, inspiring their peers with their outstanding qualities and dedication to healthcare excellence.”

Congratulations again to our winning doctors.
