Our structure

Metro South Health is one of 16 hospital and health services (HHSs) in Queensland, statutory bodies that are responsible for delivering public health services to geographical areas of Queensland.

We are funded by the Queensland Government through a service agreement with the Queensland Department of Health.

Organisation structure

Our Chief Executive, reports to the Metro South Hospital and Health Board, who in turn report to the Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, The Honourable Yvette D’Ath MP.
