Health alert: COVID-19

COVID-19 Alert: We are currently at GREEN traffic light level - there is no restriction for coming to hospital to receive healthcare. Visitors are currently welcome at Metro South Health facilities, and are asked to help keep patients safe by maintaining physical distancing where possible and practising hand hygiene. See visitor restrictions and the latest Queensland Government information. [18 January 2023].

The PAH Library and Knowledge Centre is now open. The PAH Library has been transformed into a Digital Library space with works completed on 23 April 2020.

What we've accomplished

More meeting spaces
Additional PCs
Improved quiet study spaces
More convenient access to information resources

This new space has three new meeting rooms with acoustic qualities, central study area, and a quiet area where staff can conduct quiet conversations, bring their own devices to the allocated hot desks or to the additional seating areas provided.

The new look library has a fresh design that will enhance a welcoming environment conducive to learning and an exciting new space for all staff and students, in a safe environment.

Works completed

While the refurbishment works were completed on 23 April, the space was briefly commandeered as the Staff Vaccination Clinic and the Staff Employee Assistance Service during COVID-19 response. The library space opened to staff and students officially from 22 June 2020.
