Event overview

We use the Carers Star© tool to help you find the right balance between caring for someone else and looking after your health and wellbeing.

This includes looking at 7 different areas of your life, such as work, your finances, how much time you have for yourself and how you're coping. We help you identify where you might need more help, what's working well or where things could be improved.

Our staff, including a clinical health professional and someone with personal experience in mental health and substance use, teaches this course.

Our classes are small, with up to 15 students in each one.

Please let us know if you’d like to bring a support person.

How to enrol

You can either fill in the online enrolment form or we can email you one.

We’ll email you to confirm your enrolment details and whether you need any support during the course, including:

  • using an interpreter
  • adjusting the course to meet your individual needs and learning style.
